Timo commits to bringing greater financial inclusion and accessibility to modern banking in Vietnam

Timo is Vietnam’s pioneer digital bank that wants to assist users in achieving financial independence by providing a private banking experience similar to that of other banks, but without the stress of keeping a large balance, thanks to a relationship with Viet Capital Bank.

The experience that Timo brings is “banking-on-the-go,” which allows consumers to manage, grow, and access their assets anywhere, anytime. The digital bank understands the benefits of digital channels as well as the necessity of cellphones in today’s society.

Henry Nguyen, the CEO of Timo, shares with us his interesting background as a businessman, entrepreneur and venture capitalist, and also talks about his ten years in university where he earned his Bachelor of Arts (Magna cum Laude) in Classics at Harvard University, and medical degree at Northwestern University Medical School and MBA at Kellogg School of Management. He gives insights on how he brought McDonald’s into Vietnam and speaks about his business ventures in the United States and Vietnam.
