UNO Digital Bank pioneers financial inclusion in the Philippines

UNOAsia (formerly DigibankASIA) is a Singapore-headquartered fintech with a vision to create the first full-spectrum digital bank for South East Asia. The company is on a mission to provide a single trusted interface to solve all its customers financial needs with speed & ease. In 2022, it launched Philippines’ newest digital-only lender, UNO Digital Bank and is one of the six licensed digital banks by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the first fintech in the region to get an outright digital banking license.  

“With more than 41 million Filipinos who still do not have formal bank accounts and are missing out on economic opportunities and financial security, neobanking is emerging as the most practical solution,” said Manish Bhai, Founder & CEO of Uno Asia Pte Ltd, in a conversation with #biztechasia.
